3 (VF) Squadron

3 (VF) Squadron is a small group for DCS World. We fly the AV8B Harrier made by Razbam.

The Squadron is UK based but we invite members from all over the world. As long as you can make our flight schedule then its fine. Our members are of different skill levels, from RL pilots to purely DCS enthusiasts.

We aim to do things the correct way, we have our own SOP's written by a former RAF Tornado pilot. Our own custom liveries with pilots names put on their own airframe after completing their probation period which is three months.

We train most evenings with our main mission and training nights on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 2000hrs. We try to have full briefings and de briefs for all of our official flights. using Combat Flight and Tacview.

The squadron has our own fully dedicated server running 24/7 with our own custom made dynamic missions.

Joining is easy, however due to us being a single squadron we are caped at twelve members, so we do expect people to be active, and we can be selective at times.

Don't let this put you off, just pop along to our discord and introduce yourself and a member of the team will have a chat and book a check flight. That's it. No lengthy periods of quals ect, however if a new member needs a lot of training then that can be provided, even starting in the T45.

The Squadron can operate from anywhere in the (DCS) world. From small hides to Royal Navy Carriers. We tend to operate in three to four month rotations. with a build up period before a deployment, then a training and recruiting period.
